LIBRARIES

 

One needs to be regular in flow to achieve the desired target. Analogous to it, in studies, studying once is least useful as mind retains information only for a small time if not given proper backup. To achieve this target, the concept of library comes in place. This helps in brushing up skills which help to advance in school and also increases the brain power gradually. This process ultimately develops the habit of self studying in children.

 

In library, children are told to finish their school homework for which volunteers are present to      guide them if they require. When their school work is finished they are told to revise the portion of study which was covered at school on that day. On days when there is no homework, they are given story books, comics, science fiction books, general knowledge books and other books which help them build up their reading skills and build up their knowledge apart from the school curriculum. In library time, we give some time for moral teaching so that children can become ethically strong and can serve the country with good intention.

 

The Kartavya libraries functions at the same place where classes are held. The timings follow the class timings with a short break. Apart from volunteers, a library caretaker is employed separately to take care of the exclusive needs of library. The place is equipped with all facilities needed to run properly like several kind of book (story, academic, comics, drawing and moral books) , backup power (inverter), drinking water, toilets, lights and fans . Library has a computer Lab too for daily practices.
